Financial abuse of the elderly and suspicious lifetime transactions seminar

Key contacts

Concerns around suspicious financial transactions during a person’s lifetime are becoming more common, particularly where vulnerability, capacity or undue influence may be factors. This seminar will explore how such concerns can be recognised early and effectively managed.

What you can expect

Our panel of legal and medical professionals will discuss practical strategies for identifying vulnerability, spotting suspicious transactions and taking preventative action.

The session will also consider the remedies available when financial abuse or exploitation is suspected, providing attendees with clear, practical insight into this challenging area.

The seminar will be particularly relevant for private client lawyers, contentious probate practitioners, deputies, solicitors acting under LPAs, medical professionals, and those working in safeguarding or advisory roles.
