Ellie is a Trainee Solicitor currently undertaking her third seat in our Will, Trust and Estate Disputes team, based in our Guildford office. She assists the team with all types of trust and estate disputes, including Will validity challenges and Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims.
Prior to this, Ellie completed seats in Dispute Resolution and Commercial Property.
During her Dispute Resolution seat, she assisted all members of the team on a broad range of matters, including commercial disputes, insolvency, possession claims, enforcement and property disputes. In Commercial Property, she assisted the team with property sales and acquisitions and supported landlords and tenants in relation to new leases, lease renewals, assignments and licences for alterations.
Ellie joined the firm in 2023 as a Paralegal in the Family Law team, working across the Guildford and Wimbledon offices, providing legal support to Caroline Keeley and Rebecca Cozens. She gained valuable experience attending court, drafting pleadings and assisting with client advice on a wide range of issues relating to matrimonial finances and children matters.
Ellie graduated with a first-class degree in Marketing before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2023.
She is expected to qualify as a solicitor in August 2027.
In her spare time, you can find Ellie playing golf with friends, attending a Pilates class or walking her sausage dog, Reggie.
