Izna is a Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team, with a focus on Commercial Litigation and Lending Enforcement.
Izna joined the firm in January 2023 as a Paralegal in the Business Law team, where she focused primarily on banking and finance matters. In this role, she reviewed documentation to raise conditions precedent to loans being granted, prepared Reports on Title for lenders and drafted finance documentation across bridging, development and refinancing transactions, building a strong foundation in transactional work and the commercial realities of secured lending. Izna subsequently undertook her training contract with the firm, gaining experience across Private Client, Residential Property, Business Law and Dispute Resolution.
Before joining the firm, Izna completed her LLB Law degree with First Class Honours and attended a summer school programme in Malaysia. She went on to complete both the Legal Practice Course and the LLM (Master of Laws), achieving a Distinction. Alongside her studies, she developed practical experience by working as a student adviser at the university’s legal advice clinic and undertaking work experience at another Surrey law firm.
