Jonathan is a Partner and Head of Residential Property at TWM Solicitors, and specialises in all aspects of conveyancing, small to medium residential developments and new builds.
He read Law at the University of the West of England, qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has been a Partner in the firm since 1999.
Like many of his colleagues he trained with, and has been with the firm for all his working life.
Having started out with one of the original smaller firms that formed TWM, Jonathan is very conscious of the importance of acting for the full spectrum of clients and property transactions, and securing client loyalty through quality of service. Much of his work originates from existing clients and from referrals, and he is proud that many of his current high value transactions are for clients who started off with him as First Time Buyers early in his career.
Career highlights have included:
- Acting on the sale of the highest value property in Wimbledon at the time (long since surpassed!)
- Acting in collaboration with our commercial property department on a development of 50+ flats in a scheme including commercial and Housing Association elements.
- Identifying and then negotiating and dealing with the first registration of a large part of a clients’ garden which was unregistered and owned by their neighbour. The client had lived at their property for over 20 years beforehand without knowing!
Having worked out of our Wimbledon office for over 20 years, Jonathan moved down to our Guildford office in 2020 and enjoys having links with both localities.
Jonathan’s interests include reading, skiing and running (injury permitting!)
