Ellie is a Trainee Solicitor currently undertaking a seat in the Family Law team, based in the firm’s Guildford office. She previously completed a seat in the Wills, Trust and Estate Disputes team within Dispute Resolution.
In her current role, Ellie assists fee earners with a range of family law matters. Her experience includes drafting advice letters and correspondence, preparing witness statements, attending mediations, and supporting client meetings. She has also conducted a client initial interview under supervision, gaining valuable exposure to client care and case management.
Prior to commencing her training contract, Ellie gained practical legal experience as a paralegal at another law firm and through her university’s law clinic. She has also volunteered with a domestic abuse support service in East Surrey and with Support Through Court, developing a strong appreciation for client‑focused and sensitive legal support.
Ellie completed the TWM Vacation Scheme before joining the firm as a Trainee Solicitor.
