Gillian is a Managing Associate in the Private Client team and is based at the firm’s Reigate office.
Gillian has experience of a broad range of private client work, including all aspects of estate and succession planning. She has extensive experience of preparing Wills to meet the individual needs and wishes of clients, and in preparing and registering Powers of Attorney – for both Financial matters and Health and Welfare matters. Gillian can also assist in the registration of existing Enduring Powers of Attorney and with applications to the Court for Deputyship Orders.
She advises in relation to all aspects of estate administration, including obtaining Grants of Probate for both taxable and non taxable estates, and in relation to those estates where there are Wills and intestate estates where there are no Wills.
She has experience of dealing with a wide range of matters from those which are straightforward to those which are more complex. Her approach is always practical and friendly.
Following her degree, Gillian worked in a legal practice and continued her studies to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. She went on to take the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford to qualify as a solicitor. She is an affiliate member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Outside work, Gillian enjoys live music and theatre at a variety of venues and frequent cinema visits as well as rambling walks in the countryside.
