Izna is a final-seat Trainee Solicitor currently undertaking a seat in the Business Law team, based in the firm’s Guildford office. Over the course of her training contract, she has gained experience across Private Client, Residential Property and Dispute Resolution, working in the Guildford, Epsom and Wimbledon offices, and is expected to qualify as a solicitor in August 2026.
Izna joined the firm in January 2023 as a Paralegal in the Business Law team, where she focused primarily on banking and finance matters. In this role, she reviewed documentation to raise conditions precedent to loans being granted, prepared Reports on Title for lenders and drafted finance documentation across bridging, development and refinancing transactions, building a strong foundation in transactional work.
Before joining the firm, Izna completed her LLB Law degree with First Class Honours and attended a summer school programme in Malaysia. She went on to complete both the Legal Practice Course and the LLM (Master of Laws), achieving a Distinction in each. Alongside her studies, she developed practical experience by working as a student adviser at the university’s legal advice clinic and undertaking work experience at another Surrey law firm.
