Louisa is a Managing Associate in the Private Client team at TWM Solicitors in Leatherhead.
Experience
Louisa has experience across a wide range of private client matters and is known for her friendly, caring, and pragmatic approach.
Louisa assists clients in all areas of private client work, including the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as the creation of trusts. She also supports clients with the administration of estates, provides inheritance tax advice, and advises on general estate planning.
Education
Louisa studied Law with French Law at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2016 with a 1st Class Honours Degree. She spent her third year at the University of Bordeaux and obtained Le Certificat de Droit Français. Louisa then completed her LPC at the University of Law in Guildford, finishing in June 2017 with a distinction, and commenced her training contract with TWM Solicitors, qualifying in August 2019.
During her training contract, Louisa undertook seats in the commercial property, family, private client, and dispute resolution departments. During her time in dispute resolution she focused mainly on contentious trusts and probate work.
Louisa speaks French and outside of work enjoys baking, swimming (having once been a competitive swimmer), and crochet. She regularly takes part in open water swimming events and is hoping to complete the Three Peaks Challenge this year with other TWM colleagues to raise money for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
