About Peter

Having graduated in law from Leicester University and practised as a solicitor in Central London for over 30 years, Peter joined TWM as a Partner in 2009.

He has a wealth of experience in company / commercial matters, including agency and distribution agreements, advertising and marketing, competition law, share schemes and intellectual property / information technology work. He is also a Chartered Tax Advisor, has been recognised by Legal Business as a leading expert in both E-Commerce and Franchising. Having represented five national motor dealer councils, as well as a large number of individual dealerships (ranging from sole traders to public listed groups) Peter has developed a particular reputation in the automotive sector.

With fluent French and German, intermediate Spanish and elementary Polish, Peter is a member of the International Bar Association. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, and is secretary of the British-German Jurists Association. He is listed as a notable practitioner in Corporate/M&A for the UK named as a “Foreign Expert” and also for France and Germany as an “Expert Based Abroad” in the 2012 Chambers Global Directory. 

Peter has lived in Surrey for more than 25 years and away from work enjoys fly fishing, bee keeping and water gardening.
