Rebecca is an Associate in the Will, Trust and Estates Disputes team, working out of the firm’s Guildford office.
Rebecca specialises in contentious Wills, trust, and estate disputes. She has experience in all types of trust and estate disputes, including Will validity challenges, undue influence, fraud or forgery, rectification and construction, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims, and trust disputes. She has a particular interest in capacity cases and has represented both potential claimants and defendants.
Rebecca is also experienced in most forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, particularly mediation, achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. She has developed strong professional relationships with medical experts, forensic document analysts, mediators, and Counsel.

- Reaching settlement through mediation on a Will capacity claim, successfully obtaining a large settlement figure for our client.
- Advising potential beneficiaries under a Discretionary Will Trust regarding possible professional negligence, undue influence and capacity issues.
- Advising potential claimants regarding the validity of their parent’s Will, partnership assets and trust over potential redevelopment site on the family farm.
- Advancing a 1975 Act claim on behalf of a cohabitee maintained by the Deceased.
- Advising clients on administration of family estate and removal of professional executor/trustees.
- Obtaining a pecuniary beneficiary’s entitlement under the Will after many years of delay alongside interest accrued.
- Advised on a successful application to remove executors and pursue a claim for trespass and occupational rent.
- Successfully negotiated an advancement of our client’s legacy due under a Will trust by pursuing a potential TOLATA claim.
Memberships
She is an Associate Member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). She is also a member of the Contentious Trusts Association (ConTrA) and attended the international “Trust in Litigation Conference” in Budapest.
Education
Rebecca graduated from the University of London with a degree in Philosophy, and then went on to complete the PGDL and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford, achieving a Distinction.
