Sophie is an Associate in the Commercial Property team in Guildford, working closely as a team with Matthew Truelove and Brooke Posse. She undertakes a wide variety of commercial property work, including:
- Sale and purchase of properties of all size nature and value including freehold, leasehold, development sites, investment portfolios, and auction sales
- Acting for landlords and tenants on new leases, lease renewals, assignments, sub-lettings, licences for alterations, and the full range of associated transactions
- General development work including for landowners and developers on option agreements, conditional contracts, overage arrangements and s106 agreements
- Secured finance work on the lender and borrower side, including provision of ILA for borrowers, guarantors, and providers of third party security.
Sophie graduated in Law from the University of Surrey in 2017, and went on to study the Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law at the University of Law in Guildford, gaining a Distinction. She gained invaluable experience working for four years as a Paralegal in TWM’s Lending team prior to successfully completing her training contract with the firm with a double seat in Commercial Property.
Outside work Sophie enjoys swimming and walking her miniature dachshund at the beach.
