Experience
Syeda specialises in advising on commercial freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, wayleave agreements, as well as landlord and tenant matters including new leases, lease renewals, licences to assign and licences for alterations and rent deposit deeds. Syeda also specialises in residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, licences for alterations, deeds of consent and deeds of variation.
Notable work
Syeda has gained extensive experience in both commercial and residential transactions acting for an array of clients including high net worth individuals, as well as property investment companies, commercial companies and lenders.
Education and and legal training
Syeda completed her Law degree, Legal Practice Course and Master’s degree in Legal Practice at the University of Westminster and now mentors Law Students through the university’s mentoring program. Syeda completed her training with a top 60 independent regional law firm where she started as a Paralegal and worked her way up to Trainee Solicitor within a year before qualifying and joining TWM.
Syeda is fluent in speaking Bangla (Sylheti dialect), Hindi and Urdu.
Outside of work, Syeda enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and volunteering for various charities.
